In the Mob Book, first shearing generally refers to a young mob being shorn for the first time, such as lambs, weaners or other young sheep that have not previously been shorn.
Second shearing refers to sheep that have already been shorn and eligible for DMFR risk calculation in merino mobs.
If you are unsure, check the mob’s shearing history or confirm with the grower before completing the Mob Book.
Mobs entered in the web will sync to the App to be added to bale records. For mobs that are finished, mobs can be hidden from syncing to the WoolClip app, if the mob is finished and no more bales are to be allocated to that mob.
Yes, use the WoolClip app offline to start a job and add mobs, add bale records and scan eBales. Remember to login to the WoolClip website to complete the job details and sync the information collected in the WoolClip app while offline.
Yes, add a temporary value to mandatory fields until the information come available to allow you to progress and save the module. Remember to check information and update before finalisation of the specification.
