The WoolClip Checklist for Wool Classers
A simple 6-step checklist for wool classers getting started with WoolClip
The Wool Classer Checklist
Want to use WoolClip but don’t know all the details? Two easy ways to get started: Use the app to quick start a job or keep the workflow simple with this checklist:
Step 1: Get your username and password, your smart phone or tablet, and get the WoolClip app installed.
Step 2: Before leaving for the shed and while in service, log into the web www.woolclip.com.au and select Create new job. Add what you know about the job and put temporary information for what you don’t know yet and save.
Some fields are mandatory shown with an *. Remember, anything you don’t know can be updated later!
Step 3: Sync the job to your app while in service and head to the shed ready to use WoolClip. Add mobs and bales in the app in shed mode (offline).
Step 4: Update the job with PIC number, the owner/manager’s name, phone number (and email), where the wool is going- Marketing Rep’s name and number (and email) to add to the team, as well as any extra details like Quality schemes.
Step 5: Ask the Wool Growers if they have a WoolClip Wool-ID to add to the job. This will complete trading details on the specification. Send the NWD to the Owner/Manager to declare before finalising the specification. Check that the NWD is declared.
Step 6: In the WoolClip website, use the specification tab to complete and send the specification.
Handy hints:
- Details can always be updated and edited before a specification is finalised
- Keep a physical wool book just like you always have
- Anyone with the WoolClip app can keep the wool book and scan bales
- Create the specification and finalise and send. No more hanging around at the shed writing up a specification. Relax and complete the documents in a timely manner.
- Any mistakes can be easily edited
